What’s an average schedule for a 7 month old?

What’s the appropriate/average wake time for a 7 month old and does that change based on the duration of the last nap?

In general a schedule can be whatever works consistently for your family. If your child went to bed at 10:00 PM, but you let him sleep until 10:00 AM that wouldn’t be a problem. On average a 7 month old will sleep 10.5-11 hours a night (average range 10-12 hours), with 3-4 hours of naps during the day. A schedule that works for many families is 7:30 PM bedtime, 6:30 AM wake time, Nap 1 8:30-10:00, Nap 2 12:30-2:00, Nap 3 4:30-5:00. That’s just an example schedule and there are lots of variations in there that are normal. In order to ensure consolidated sleep happens at night it is important to keep bedtime and wake time as regular as possible. If your baby has a rough nap day, then an early bedtime is a good idea, but if you do an early bedtime every day, then you could end up with a long stretch of waking in the middle of the night.
